The Bead Taper Secure (BTS) Wheel Series
BTS series rims and wheels are designed to answer the challenging needs of heavy duty off-highway trucks under tough operating conditions.
The main BTS benefits are:

Technology
- The innovative taper design of the BTS secures all rim components in place and eliminates any movement or flexing of the rim components (side rings, rim base, bead seat band, lock ring, and o-ring).
- The beads of the tire are secure and stable.
- Air loss and the problems associated with it are eliminated.
- The taper design gives the side rings more surface area over which to seat.
- The increased contact area spreads the forces and pressures out evenly across the components. The thickness of this area gives the side ring the stability to react against the forces of the tire.
- The fully machined taper ensures an even distribution of the contact stresses.
