The Integrated Gutter Lock Ring (IGLR)
The IGLR is designed to make changing tires more efficient, faster and safer when compared to a traditional 5 piece assembly rim.
The main IGLR benefits are:
- 1. By using IGLR rim, tire changes becomes easier and more efficient, dramatically reducing downtime and service hours.
- 2. Tire will be sitting on the bead band instead of rim base, which makes it much easier to remove the tire from the wheel.
- 3. Compared with 5 piece rim, IGLR adds one more bead band, the tire could be mounted and dismounted from the rim with help of two equal bead seat bands, this highly increase the maintenance efficiency for tire and rim service.
Technology
- IGLR rim structure functions as same as DGCS rim, but it has unique feature of integrated Lock Ring in the back section. The Lock Ring is already built into the back section which makes installation much easier.
